One is my “Monitor” piece and one is an older piece from 2006 called “End of Summer, Endless Night”, which [...]]]> I have 2 video pieces in the new show titled “The Sky is Falling!” at the Kleinert/James gallery in Woodstock, NY about the Mayan prediction for the end of a 26,000 year celestial cycle. One is my “Monitor” piece and one is an older piece from 2006 called “End of Summer, Endless Night”, which will probably be the last time I exhibit this piece before scavenging the sculpture for spare parts. Check it out if you’re in Woodstock – the show is up until Dec 2, 2012.  It’s quite an interesting show of only video, computer and projected light.  Some stuff is a bit apocalyptic (like my own stuff) but others are more introspective and even positive!

As part of my recent inclusion in the bookMARKs show in Syracuse my two photo books for Hoarder House and Monitor have been added to the wonderful Indie Photobook Library.  Founded by Larissa Leclair in 2010, the Indie Photobook Library is an archive of self-published and indie published photobooks. This includes DIY, photobooks independently published and distributed, photography exhibition catalogs, print-on-demand photobooks, artist books, zines, photobooks printed on newsprint, limited edition photobooks, and non-English language photography books, etc. The iPL promotes and showcases the books in the collection through international pop-up and feature-length exhibitions, articles, conferences, guest lectures, and also preserves them as a non-circulating public library.  You can view my books in the library by clicking on the images below:
