Biographical

Dave Hebb is a visual artist working with photography, video and sculptural installation living and working in the Catskill region of New York State.  His work has been exhibited throughout New York State, as well as across the U.S. and internationally.  Notable professional highlights include a Fulbright Fellowship to Iceland to create a sculptural installation (1997-8) and being selected for the NYFA MARK 10 professional development program for artists (2010).  Recent exhibitions and screenings include two consecutive solo shows of video work at COOP gallery (Nashville, TN, 2010-11), and a two-person exhibition at Art Laboratory Berlin, (Berlin, Germany, 2012).

2008 “Narcissus Kisses Sisyphus” video – commissioned to accompany reading performances of new short prose by author NJ Rhoades.  Screened at various venues in Detroit, MI.
2007 “Userlands”book signing – Detroit Film Center – Detroit, MIVideo “Metaphase” commissioned to be projected at book signing event.  Video is now hosted on author and editor Dennis Cooper’s blog as a permanent link.
